A Behanding in Spokane

A Behanding in Spokane - Martin McDonagh Bloody good fun. Love the irreverence with which THE NIGHT OF THE HUNTER tattoo is referenced. Mervyn's monologue in the middle seems incongruous - but then it all comes together in the 3rd act. Love the mother on the phone, the way the women manipulate the men and the men just throw hissy fits. Hilarious, morbid and offensive - all the qualities best about a McDonagh play. It's very short.
